FORM ON WORDS

子どもたちと古着を使って協働で作品を作る西尾のワークショップ《ことばのかたち工房》の活動から発展し、誕生したファッションブランド。子どもたちと作ったユニークな造形物の特質をそのままに、第三者の手に渡る高品質の衣服作りを目標に、現役のデザイナーやパタンナーが参加する《ことばのかたち工房Pro》を2011年に展開。その後、ファッションブランドとして、子どもや一般参加者と協働しながら、新しい装いのあり方を提案している。

This fashion brand evolved out of Yoshinari Nishio’s workshop project of the same name, in which children create designs with used clothing. Aiming to retain the unique style of the young collaborators while producing high-quality clothing suitable for people to wear, the workshop developed into Form on Words Pro in 2011, featuring a professional designer and patternmaker. As a fashion brand, it has continued to present new approaches to clothing in partnership with children and members of the public.
