Form on Words

仕事着についての商店主へのインタビューから、さまざまな「言葉」を抽出する。「言葉」の正体を知らない子どもたちが「言葉」からイメージを膨らませ、古着を用いて「形」を作り出す。その「形」を商店主に届けて、着用してもらう。

Various words are picked out of interviews with shopkeepers about their work clothes. Based on these words but without knowing their contexts, children are asked to imagine and create their own designs using old clothes. Their designs are taken back to the originators of the words—the shopkeepers—who then try putting them on.
