Ensemble Clothes

服は絶えず音を発している。腕を組むとき、階段を降りるとき、ポケットの中を探るとき……。服は着ているだけで、合奏のための楽器となり得る。パフォーマーの日常的な動作が誇張・反復を重ねながら、合奏のための動作としてデザインされなおしてゆく。

Clothes always make various sounds over the course of everyday actions like folding our arms, going down some steps, or searching in a pocket. Our clothes can become a musical ensemble: a group of performers coming together to “play” their instruments whenever we put on clothes.
