Second Button
This project designed the fashion for a university graduation party. The second buttons of around three hundred clothing items were photographed and then made into pin badges. At Japanese graduations, boys sometimes give their second uniform button—the one located near the heart—to someone special as a sign of affection. When the graduating student wore the badge at the venue, it functioned as a clothing accessory and communication tool enabling current students and visitors to ask someone for their badge.
