Kitchen Model

Participants are asked to bring one type of food (vegetable, fruit, meat, fish, etc.) and to come to the meeting place in “unwanted old clothes” associated with their choice of food. In the first half, participants make lunch together with the foods they have brought. The particular array of food on the day determines how the lunch turns out. In the latter half, they cut, mix, roast, or simmer the “unwanted old clothes” in the same way they would cook food, creating new types of clothing.
